You can send an e-mail to info@driftwoodadventures.com to hold a tour for 48 hours. We will call you to confirm your reservation and take your $350CAN ($350USD)/person deposit. We can take your VISA or MasterCard number over the phone. The balance is due 60 days prior to departure. If you are booking a trip that leaves in less than 30 days, the full amount is due immediately.

We accept Visa, MasterCard and cheques.

We recommend early bookings to ensure availability and your choice of dates.


In order to reserve a space on one of our tours we require a deposit of: $350.00/person. Balance of payment is due 60 days prior to trip departure. If trip is booked within the 30 days of departure we require full payment.

An additional 5 % GST (Goods and Service Tax) is added on to all tour prices. Prices are quoted in Canadian dollars.

Once you have reserved your trip, you will be sent a pre-trip kit which will assist you in preparing yourself for your tour. This pre-trip kit will be sent either by mail or e-mail. It will contain your medical form and liability release. These must be completed prior to the trip and returned within 30 days of your scheduled departure. Personal information is held confidentially and we do not sell our client list.


You must contact us by mail or e-mail if you cancel a trip. Refunds for cancellation are given on the following basis:

Camping tours:

Trips cancelled with 30 days notice will receive a full refund less a $150 administration fee. Trips that are cancelled less than 30 days prior to departure will not be reimbursed.

Lodge-based tours:

Trips cancelled with 14 days notice, will receive a full refund less a $100 administration fee. Trips that are cancelled less than 14 days prior to departure will not be reimbursed.

No refunds are given once tours have departed. Driftwood Adventures Inc is not responsible for any additional costs that may arise in the event of a trip alteration or delay, caused by circumstances beyond our control. Note that if you must cancel, we will be as understanding as possible and will make every effort to be as flexible as we can with our policy.

Due to the nature of operating in a remote area, Driftwood Adventures Inc. reserves the right to cancel any trip prior to departure for any reason. If the trip is cancelled due to insufficient registration, a two-week notice will be given with a full refund and we will make every effort to offer acceptable alternatives. The costs for delays due to weather or factors beyond the control of Driftwood Adventures Inc. are not included.


Each participant is required to fully fill out medical form and liability release form. Forms must be returned to us no later than 30 days before the specific departure date. These forms will be sent out once we receive your deposit.


We strongly recommend that participants purchase tour cancellation insurance, in the event of unexpected events which would prevent you from participating. Insurance can be purchased through your local travel agent.

We also recommend that you have adequate medical and personal injury insurance. Be sure your personal insurance is adequate to cover unforeseen expenses that may arise in remote wilderness locations.
